Vibe Check

Hey! So – I have been hearing a lot about gratitude lately. I’ve been working to re-implement my habit of writing down the things I am grateful for every day.

Gratitude lists are one of the first homework assignments that I received from my sponsor when I got sober.

And it works!

But, life gets busy. So we put things aside. Things that don’t beep, buzz and ring. Things that don’t pull our attention away.

I have to be intentional to do the things that feed my soul and adjust my perspective and attitude.

One of the best things I can do to help my perspective? Gratitude lists! Writing it down is imperative. Something magical happens when I write the list down on paper where I can see it and it’s not just bouncing around in my head.

Post it note “There is always a reason to smile. Find it.”

I have been learning more about vibrational frequencies. So I got curious, and I found a blog by Tansy Rodgers, FNTP that talks about the frequency of gratitude! (Click on the word “blog” to check it out).

Tansy talks about research that has been done by Bruce Tainio that says that the normal healthy human body resonates at an average frequency of 62-75 MHz. While the vibration of gratitude is about 7x higher – ringing in at about 540 MHz!!!!

WHOA!!

No wonder I feel so much better when I have an ‘Attitude of Gratitude’!!

I absolutely LOVE it when science ties into the ‘best practices’ of sobriety, personal development, mindfulness and etc.

So – I will continue my gratitude lists, and I will make them a priority!

Jeff Lerner, in his book Unlock Your Potential, recommends that gratitude lists become part of our morning routine. Talk about starting your day off right!

What are you grateful for?

I am grateful for you. 🫶
